*All drawings derive from 3D models, presented in meetings which are then created into DXF parts to cut on a CNC router
SHOP ASSEMBLY : PHASE 2
CAPITAL ONE : THE CLOUD
The cloud was one of our most complex assemblies, the size of the cloud and the sloping ceiling made fabrication a challenge. The process is as follows :
- Structural Steel was digitally scan as to our field measures.
- The digital scan was imported into our CAD program to begin fabrication.
- Framework was built to replicate the current site conditions of structural steel and the slope of the ceiling.
- Finished panels were fabricated and assembled in the shop.
- Cloud was disassembled and numbered for installation in field.
- We worked with union carpenters who reassembled onsite.
